This policy explains what personal data Genivance collects, why, and what you can do about it. The controller is Keren Sophia Merzlyak, Israel. Contact for privacy requests: the Send feedback form in the account menu (or, for payments, paddle.net).
What we collect
- Account: your email address, name and, with Google sign-in, your Google profile picture. Your sign-in sessions with their IP address and browser.
- Your content: projects and designs, chat conversations with the AI designer, photos and floor plans you upload, custom items, and saved versions.
- Usage: AI usage per request (tokens and credits, not shared outside Genivance), your plan and monthly allowances, and when you were last active.
- Billing: your Paddle customer and subscription IDs, plan, subscription status and renewal date. Card and payment details go to Paddle, never to us.
- Feedback: what you send with Send feedback, and a screenshot or technical details (browser, screen size, recent errors) only if you choose to include them.
We don't use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Genivance uses one sign-in cookie, and stores preferences and unsaved drafts in your browser.
Why we use it
To provide Genivance (your account, projects and AI design), which is necessary for our contract with you; to bill paid plans; to prevent abuse, such as repeated free trials and rate limits (our legitimate interest); and to answer support requests and improve Genivance. We don't sell your data or use your photos to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us, only as needed:
- Anthropic and OpenAI: your prompts, photos and design data, to generate the AI designer's answers. Under their API terms they don't train models on this data.
- Paddle: payments, tax and invoices, as the Merchant of Record (see Paddle's privacy policy).
- Render (hosting, EU) and MongoDB Atlas (database).
- Resend: sign-in emails. Google: if you sign in with Google.
Some of them are in the United States; transfers rely on their standard contractual clauses. People you send a share link to can see that project (and its chat and photos, if you include them) until you revoke the link. Genivance's administrators can view an account's projects to provide support and handle abuse; every view is logged. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it. Feedback messages may be copied, without your email, to our private issue tracker.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your projects, chats, photos, library, feedback and usage records, and cancel your subscription. We keep a one-way hash of your email with your trial usage, so a new account with the same email doesn't get a second trial, and the log of administrator actions (which names the account's email) for accountability. Paddle keeps payment records as tax law requires. Copies in database backups are overwritten as the backups expire.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and complain to a data protection authority (in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority; in the EU, your local authority). Most of this you can do in the app: export projects from the editor, and delete your account from your profile. For anything else, contact us at the Send feedback form in the account menu (or, for payments, paddle.net).
Children
Genivance isn't for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in their country to consent to use Genivance if higher. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. Users under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian's permission to use Genivance.
Changes
We'll post changes here and tell you in the app if they matter.
